Sorry for the foul language

P89

So sorry for the foul language. However, this sums up my past 6 months!! I frequently make it rain with my work papers. Forms for this and forms for that. Make it rain! Happy Friday.

What is that!?!?

P67

I know that my hair line isn't what it used to be. A better way to put it is that my hairline isn't where it used to be, well that and it isn't as thick as it was. Let's just say my hair isn't as lush as it once was. This morning while 'doing my hair' - oh gosh how do I say this.

I think I attempted to pull some hair over my landing strip! I am not sure if I did or not. It certainly wasn't a conscious action. Omg wth WTF. Shut the front door! I am not nor will I ever be the comb over guy. You have my permission to ridicule me, point and laugh, and shame me, if you see me with a comb over.

That is all.

Getting old

P49

Black dress socks and sneakers! BANG. That is just what old people do. Basically, the image of dress socks and sneakers shows; A: I am too lazy to change my socks after a long day at work B: I really don't care if the kids now-a-days point at me and laugh as I mow my lawn.

I am sure this will all change as my daughter gets older. She is only four, hence not too concerned with the embarrassment that black socks and sneakers will cause. I can hear her now, ' DAD, really again with the dress socks!'

Let the good times roll!

Rain rain go away

P65

Dear Mother Nature,

Please don't flood my basement again! I would really appreciate it. I just finished cleaning and bleaching and scrubbing, and cleaning and bleaching and scrubbing. Hence, my basement is spotless and finally back together after Irene put a hurting on the PJ family.

Thank you in advance,

PJ

Hmmm

I constantly think about returning to the blog world.

Constantly. However, my biggest hurdle is finding the time to read and comment on the blogs that I loved ready so often.

I feel that it is almost rude to write and not read. Heck, if anyone takes the time to read/comment on my blog shouldn't I read/comment on their fabulous blog.

I find myself with a little extra time on my hands now-a-days. Just not enough to read and right and comment, and proof read and tweak and and and and.

One day at a time as they say.

And well ... Long time.

P16

I found an app and it does this and It does that, and I found another one for this and that. I looked here and there, and I looked every where, and is ' everywhere' one word or two?

Lots have changed and lots have not.

Yummy

I know, I know. It has been far too long. Far far far too long. Well to sum up. I left the old job for the new job and was told that I don't start the new job for two weeks. Yes! Or NO! I have been spending nothing but great, fabulous, amazing quality time with the beans- and not making any coin. I/we have had a rough year for daddy making any bank and holding down a good job. I sure feel like I failed in the working category this year. I however excelled like a mo fo in the daddy category.

Nothing better than changing the night time pullup and leaving it on the counter for the entire day.

I really don't have much for you guys. I did the broad street run 10 mile ' race ' ( I don't consider it much o a race if I don't have a chance to win). Rx7 pulled away from me the last two miles or so, and ended up beating me by about 10 minutes or so. I always have a rough last mile and a half, no matter how good of shape I am in. Kudos to him!

Date night on Friday night!!!!! Wifey and I are going to be at the Phillies game so look fo me being tasered on the field in the 7th inning. Hopefully, we see a good game. It will be the beans first night sleeping out, and I am really looking forward to sleeping in Saturday am. I might actually sleep till like 7am. Heck, it isn't am absurd idea to think that 8am is not out of reach.

Friday bit@&$&@

It is Friday and most importantly the last few hours of working a
terrible job with terrible hours. I just could not deal with being
away from the family and missing dinner almost every night. It just
was not a good fit. Tuesday I start my life as a banker, yes a
banker. Yes suited up and doing it banker style. I am very excited
not only because I am extremely interested in learning finance, yet
also my commute is now gonna be ten minutes instead of an hour and ten
minutes. So, booyah!

On a side note I can't stop listening to - ain't no sunshine, the bill
withers edition. I am on an oldies kick!

Happy Friday y'all!

The sun

I love to wake up really early everyday! Yes, I am one of THOSE
people. I love to be up and moving before you are! I get a kick out
of seeing the sun rise, the dew glisten. I remember an old army
saying ( must have been a comercial or something), we do more before
the sun rises, than you do all day. I love it. I love being
productive first thing in the am. I get a thrill out of knowing that
you are still aleeping and I am getting it done. In my younger days I
would work out, as in be at the gym by 5:00am. When wifey an I were
dating she would call me at 4:45am to tell me to have a good workout.
The kicker was she was walking into her gym to go swimming. Nothing
better than driving to work after a fantastic workout and seeing
people that are slugging their coffee to get moving. HA. I also
don't mind going to bed early, wifey stays up late. I guess I just
need more sleep. My point is get your ass up out of bed and make it
happen. Time is precious.

Happy Friday

Crazy talk

I am driving my wife absolutely bonkers! I was laid off for 5 months
and felt that I NEEDED to get back to work, NEEDED. I had a few job
offers and took one that I thought was a good fit for myself and my
family. After a month, I have come to realize the job itself is good,
the people are idiots, and the commute sucks big donkey balls! I
spend a minimum of two hours on my commute each day, minimum. Usually
it is close to three. Now that is three hours I could spend with my
beautiful wife and the beans. That three hours is precious. That
three hours is why I have am interview tomorrow and why I NEED to stop
switching jobs ( such is life as a salesperson). Family first folks!
But in order to have the option of time you need to have the coin to
take care of the family. Such is life.

Rainy Monday

The rain is pounding on my windshield and as the wipers clean the
glass I can see the parking lot that is route 276. It stares at me
laughing and letting me know that I have no control over this
situation. I watch as the rain drops fill the indentations in the
road. With a jerk of the car I downshift from second to first and
release the clutch. That was fun! I smile as I watch thbother drivers
wait in line with me.

I wonder what are you doing? What are you writing? What is the
weather like where you are? What would you say if we ever met? Will
we ever meet? I know some of you personally and would love to meet
the rest, someday.

I wonder if I will find a place to work that will be part of my life,
instead of an interruption to my life.

I wonder about this healthcare bill?!?

Hmm, I wonder if this traffic will let up.

I wonder if Bell Biv Devoe could make another hit?

Let's talk about ---

Me being at work with nothing to do but blog on old el bloggo - el
neglected blogo. And I have nothing to say. Nadda zip zilch. It's St
Paddys day, yet that doesn't mean much - well in the hayday it sure
did, but now just another day. Hmmm. I do know these dress shirts
and ties are killing my neck, yet they look snazzy so it is a trade
off. Other than that it is the same old same old around PJ land. My
diet has been impeccable for the past few months and I have been
working out a little, running a little and my goal of mowing the lawn
sans shirt this summer should be attainable. Yep, that's it. Oh wait,
I do have a plant and a fish in my office - cool huh!

Happy hump day.

What is real

This entire work thing seems pretty backwards to me. I am sitting
here drinking my tea, shirt and tie on, while looking out of the
window. The grass is back and I can see some green on the trees. I
want to sit here all day and explain to the beans all of what is going
on outside. Explain why the birds are back and the squirrels are full
of hustle. Heck, probably even take a nice long walk. Instead of
that I am going to hustle out of my door and get my little car in line
with all of the other cars to take me to a place that I am still
deciding if I want to be there or not. This work thing is getting in
the way of life. It is necessary, and even sometimes rewarding, yet
not what I like to deam as the important part of my day. The hours
spent with family are where the life part happens. It is only
Wednesday, awesome.

Size em up

How do you not come to a new job and size people up. Especially
dealing with sales and sales equations. How do you not look around
and see who is going to be in your way for that number one spot. Who
is a piker? Who comes in at 9am signs in and goes to get their coffee
and bs while I am on the phones working the magic! Who is who and
what is what? Let's get it on.

Happy Friday people.

Drive in...

The drive in to work was kind of brutal today. I am here a bit early
ready to get my blogging straight. I can't tell you that i wasn't
Teary eyed for a good bit of my commute. Now I know what wifey had to
deal with going back to work. I always knew it was hard for her,
really hard or her. Now I know that it is really hard for me. I
guess that is some of what makes a good parent. To quote a good band
" it is so hard to say goodbye to yesterday." the beans asked my why
I was dressed up today and I said that daddy had to go to work. Her
reply was, well, who is gonna take care of me? When I told her nana
and pop pop were back on duty she was pretty excited and started to
pack all of the toys that she wanted to take with her. She gave me
hugs an kisses, cheeks an noses, butterflies and eyebrows, pounds and
hi fives- and then I made her do them all again.

Wish me luck! I am back to the grind!

Work

I start work again this week. I will be doing admissions/sales for a
tech school/ college and really hope to be able to get back to
blogging on a more consistent basis. I am not thrilled about leaving
my mr. Mom post, yet I have to do what I have to do. It was a
tremendous 5 months and I learned more from that little girl than I
ever thought possible. It is with a heavy heart that daddy heads to "
work " this week.

Ahhhhh

Nothing quit like sitting in your car watching the rain melt the snow
away. Another storm is on the horizon and we are in the mix of rain
and sleet right now.

I am waiting for another interview at a potential job that wants to
pay me far less than I deserve, awesomeness!!! You know what really
grinds my gears? Well, I will tell you. I have a resume that has
been sent in via email, I bring a hard copy with me and yet most
companies want me to fill out an application which essentially means
writting all of that information again. This drives me to HULK
proportions of nutso. I want to lose my mind and just ask these
people- are you serious? Really? WTF? Do you have an analyst back
there to go over my writting? Arg. Well, off I go! To rewrite
information that they already have and that I have brought a
professional copy of! Sweeeet!

WTH

When I first heard that Christopher Robin was no longer part of Winnie
the pooh - I went a bit nutso! I figured ok the beans will never see
this new chick anyway. I had to lay the law down and make my feelings
known that if anyone brings in anything with the ' new girl ' it will
be tossed out. I have been able to keep that promise, and yes I
still don't know her name and will never learn it! Old school people,
that is just how i do it.

The beans does not watch much tv, yet daddy does need to shower and
shave. Hence, we have a few acceptable shows that she does watch. One
of them is Mickey mouse fun house. When the heck did the song
change? Wth. The cadence is different the words are different and it
is about to be on the do no watch list!

Happy Friday!
